Each class counts towards the 25 hours of required training for CCIP participants.

In this workshop, we will explore how to support the growth and well-being of children in our programs while honoring family traditions, beliefs, and values. Nini Humphrey, MEd, a senior adjunct professor at Pacific Oaks College, will talk about how to incorporate culturally responsive approaches into your program while supporting language development and learning and, creating a culturally inclusive learning environment. She will share ideas and activities on how to practice self-reflection and gain greater awareness of how our values and beliefs inform our decision making. A catered lunch will be provided.
