DESCRIPTION:This course meets the 8-hour California State regulations for child care providers.\n\n\nTHE ZOOM LINK WILL BE PROVIDED BY GABRIELA BEFORE 5:30 PM ON THE SAME DAY OF THE CLASS.* \nDates:  Fri & Sat  Apr 14 – 15 | 9 am – 1 pm \n*This course meets the 8-hour California State regulations for child care providers. \nThis training curriculum provides the eight hours of EMSA approved\, Preventive Health training required for child care licensing. The core content of the Preventive Health and Safety training curriculum (excluding Pediatric CPR and First Aid) is arranged into three modules: Module 1: Prevention of Infectious Disease; Module 2: Prevention of  Injuries; and Module 3: Nutrition. The curriculum may be used for training child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to refresh their knowledge and assure they are up-to-date.  This is our 5th Edition\, renewed in June 2022. The 5th Edition contains the required lead poisoning prevention and nutrition content.

With babies present\, parents can focus on easing tensions\, restoring alignment in the body\, creating energy\, and re-strengthening the core. After a brief check-in\, we’ll center\, breathe\, move and support one another. Modifications and suggestions for yoga props will be offered\, and specific care needs during the postural movement portion of the class.

DESCRIPTION:Este curso cumple con las regulaciones estatales de California de 8 horas para proveedores de cuidado infantil.\n\n\nLun – Mié\, Mar. 20 – 22 | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm\, 2 horas practica en persona el Sáb\, Mar. 25\n \nRCP y primeros auxilios pediátricos es el curso que cumple con las regulaciones estatales de California para proveedores de cuidado infantil. Primeros auxilios enseña la prevención de lesiones y cómo responder a emergencias y accidentes. Esta clase cubre desde el nacimiento hasta la edad adulta\, aunque el enfoque está en las edades pediátricas atendidas en los programas de cuidado infantil. Esta certificación es por dos años. \nEsta clase se ofrece virtualmente durante las primeras 6 horas. Se requerirán las últimas 2 horas para completar en persona y en grupos pequeños en el estacionamiento de Bananas. Se programará una cita para el sábado siguiente a las 3 clases virtuales\, con el fin de completar las 8 Horas requeridas. \nRCP / primeros auxilios pediátricos no es una clase de salud preventiva.
