DESCRIPTION:This course meets the 8-hour California State regulations for child care providers.\n\n\nTHE ZOOM LINK WILL BE PROVIDED BY GABRIELA AFTER PURCHASHING A TICKET \nMon – Wed\, Nov 7 – 9 | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm\, 2 hour in-person training on Sat\, Nov 11 \nCPR and First Aid is the course that complies with California state regulations for child care providers. First Aid teaches injury prevention and how to respond to emergencies and accidents. This class covers birth through adulthood\, although the focus is on the pediatric ages served in child care programs. This certification is for two years. \nThis class is offered virtually for the first six hours. The last two hours will be required to complete in-person in small groups at the Bananas parking lot. Appointments will be made for the Saturday following the class. \nCPR / First Aid is not a preventive health class.
