DESCRIPTION:This course meets the 8-hour California State regulations for child care providers.\n\n\nDue to our generous funders\, Bayer Corporation and the California Department of Education\, we are able to offer coupon codes for child care providers in Alameda\, Albany\, Emeryville\, Berkeley\, Oakland\, and Piedmont. Please contact Gabriela Meneses at gabriela@bananasbunch.org for more information. \nThis course meets the 8-hour California State regulations for child care providers. It includes preventive health practices and management of communicable diseases\, childproofing\, immunization information\, preparing for emergencies and evacuation\, safe food handling\, nutrition\, and identification and reporting of child abuse. You wonder if this is normal. When you try to reason with your toddler about why they should eat vegetables\, you wonder if you’re getting through at all. In this workshop\, you’ll discover how your toddler sees the world around them and common milestones for children at this age. You’ll walk away with specific strategies to get your toddler to cooperate and listen so when they insist on wearing the same purple shirt day after day\, you’ll know just what to do.
