Instructor: Leonora Willis, Perinatal Yoga Instructor, Birthworker and Lactation Specialist
This class is designed to assist new parents with recovery after birth, provide a supportive community-centered environment, and an awareness of self-care. With their babies present, parents can focus on easing tensions, restoring alignment in the body, creating energy and re-strengthening the core. After a brief check-in, we’ll center, breathe, move and support one another. Modifications and suggestions for yoga props will be offered, and specific care needs during the postural movement portion of the class.
