During early childhood children are developing social-emotional skills and it is common for them to exhibit behaviors that are not appropriate because they have not learned how to manage strong feelings or how to express themselves verbally to satisfy their needs. In this training we will talk about ‘the why’ of these behaviors and how to help children self-regulate using various strategies to help them be able to interact with their peers and caregivers in appropriate ways.
