This two-hour interactive training introduces the key concepts of trauma and its effects on development and behavior. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with each other in small group discussions to share their personal experience and reflections on the topic of Developmentally Informed Trauma Practices and Challenging Behavior. Topics include • exploring the impact of trauma on development and behavior, • a framework for understanding what motivates behavior, and • developmentally informed trauma strategies for responding to children’s behavior.
