No new and fancy materials required, this workshop is for providers who have felt stuck when trying to connect children’s interest to STEM
As an ECE Provider, there is an art to translating and connecting young children’s actions and interests into learning concepts and domains. No new and fancy materials required, this workshop is for providers who have felt stuck when trying to connect children’s interest to STEM, especially providers who may feel like STEM is not for them. Through this interactive workshop, providers will develop their own site-specific system (designing the ECE environment for STEM opportunities and provider workflow), observe examples of child-led STEM learning and have resources and go-to practices rooted in inquiry and improvisation to support providers on-the-floor.
