Studies show that challenging and accessible early childhood math education is a vital foundation for future mathematics learning. Children’s brains are like sponges from the ages of 0-6. They are able to absorb knowledge easily and they have a natural curiosity and sensitivity to quantities, numerals, patterns, and shapes. We will discuss how caregivers and teachers can provide a math-friendly environment to their students, the workshop will also offer guided activities to maximize learning and discoveries in mathematics.
