Nature Walk: Teaching Literacy Outside

Children have a natural proclivity for exploring and
playing outside. Not only is it fun, but the natural world provides the perfect environment to
authentically teach important oral language and vocabulary skills. In this workshop, participants
will learn how to turn a simple walk around the neighborhood or playground into an authentic
and engaging literacy experience.
