This participatory workshop will guide educators, providers and parents with helpful tips on using books already in your library as inspiration for STEM/STEAM learning. This workshop will break down the identification of interest, preparation, the facilitation and the extension of your STEM/STEAM invitations. You don’t need a science background or many resources to engage your children in rich, meaningful and developmentally appropriate STEM/STEAM learning, it can start with just one book! Bring your ideas, questions and challenges to make the most out of your session.
