Participants will learn about trauma, the impact of trauma, and traumatic stress on children’s development and learning. The introduction will include trauma-informed early childhood practices that support children’s healing and resiliency. Participants will also learn about the use of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) index to understand their own background with trauma.
