UnPeeled 2025: BANANAS Ultimate Children’s Event!

BANANAS is thrilled to announce that UnPeeled will be returning to the magical Fairyland this year besides Lake Merritt! This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025
Did you know that when Fairyland opened in 1950, admission was between 9 and 14 cents?! And Walt Disney visited and incorporated ideas from Fairyland in his “magic kingdom,” which opened in Anaheim in 1955, which is now known as Disneyland today.
As always, admission to this event will be FREE for our clients and the community. To add even more excitement to the afternoon, there will be LIVE shows from local performers. This is a great opportunity to let your little one tap into their creative side to sing along, dance and explore!
HELP SUPPORT UNPEELED
BANANAS is committed to keeping UnPeeled free for all of our guests, but our expenses are
rising as we grow our event! We are aiming to raise $25,000 to assist in covering the event
venue, event supplies, live show expenses, and volunteer t-shirts. Other expenses will go
towards where it’s needed most: child care referrals, workshops, playgroups, coaching, and
support groups. Please help us in sustaining this family-friendly community event!
