Using visual aids, Maria Gomez will share information and ideas about how to actively engage children in science projects, the majority of which are projects that take place outdoors. Come and learn new hands-on science activities that are enriching and learn how to involve children that experience sensory issues. In this class, providers will also learn simple and inexpensive ways to incorporate nature into their program. This workshop is for Family, Friend, and Neighbor caregivers (FFN). Taking this class makes FFNs eligible for the First 5 Quality Counts stipend. Please contact Mikaela Chant at mikaela@bananasbunch.org to learn more about the Quality Counts stipend.
